Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. The check-in process took over an hour as the staff tried to push a timeshare appointment. Additionally, the activities offered were lacking, which left my partner and me feeling bored during our stay. We had a hard time enjoying the facilities because corporate groups often occupied the quieter pool areas, making it noisy and less relaxing.

Loved relaxing by the stunning pool with ocean views. The 20 87 Restaurant was a highlight, thanks to Chef Angela's warm hospitality and delicious food. The staff went out of their way to make our stay special, especially during the spa treatments.

In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly activities would be great.

The Pure Wellness® Alcoba was pretty nice initially, but then we had issues like a ceiling falling through on the balcony. It was a bummer stepping in puddles in the hallway, not expected for the price. The bed was comfortable, but there were some things that just didn’t vibe well, especially considering the cost. Overall, it felt mixed—some good design and comfort, but those water leaks and ceiling issues really stood out.

Our stay was amazing! The ocean-facing suite was spacious and provided stunning views that were hard to leave. The food quality exceeded our expectations with multiple restaurants offering a variety of delicious dishes. Although the beach could use better maintenance to address seaweed issues, overall, we had an excellent time soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

The beautiful grounds of the resort and the elegant design of the hotel create a comfortable atmosphere for business functions. The service was outstanding, with staff readily available to assist with my work needs, including setup and catering for meetings. The spacious rooms provided a peaceful escape after work hours, allowing for relaxation.

This was a top selection for a weekend vacation in Akumal with best value for money ratio. We especially enjoyed the attentive service from our host at the Japanese restaurant, making our dining experience memorable. Make sure to explore the buffet for a variety of food options.
